In applications where there is rotational movement, the outer diameter clamping margin should be increased (for a better fit in the channel and not to rotate)
The preload value should be lowered to reduce friction
SCOPE OF APPLICATION:
Double acting pistons and plunger pistons in hydraulic cylinders
Static and dynamic sealing element (non-rotating and non-flowing) preferred instead of o-rings in hydraulic systems.
Alternative design to composite throat seals (o-ring and backing ring)
INSTALLATION CONDITION:
It can be easily mounted by twisting.
